Help adult learners become better readers and prepare for increased employment opportunities. Teach reading and writing skills at a public location, usually the public library, either in a one-on-one setting or as a group class. If you are age 55+ and would like to help adults with an improved quality of life, volunteer today!

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America’s largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with the Adult Literacy League to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation of National and Community Service. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!
