Help Bring Food to the Senior Community in Kissimmee
January 1 - May 31
Advance Community Outreach Center is an organization with myriad educational programs and activities to promote health, exercise, and entertainment to the senior community in Osceola County in Florida. We rely on volunteers to help prepare and serve daily meals, run day to day needs within the office, as well as help maintain the facility through clean up and maintenance.
We are looking for individuals or groups who have a passion for our senior community and have a desire to see their day to day life enhanced through interaction and socialization through meals. This is a predominately Hispanic community, so Spanish is a plus but not a must.
Advance Community Outreach Center provides the necessary training for each volunteer position. VCI’s part in this opportunity is to provide volunteers who are 55+ with a (free) comprehensive benefits package (inclusive of accident, personal liability and automobile liability insurance, a life Insurance benefit, free workshops and more) during the hours that you volunteer! Please contact the RSVP Osceola Coordinator for more information: 407-298-4180, x 108 / firstname.lastname@example.org
RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America’s largest volunteer network for people 55 and over.
