Advance Community Outreach Center is an organization with myriad educational programs and activities to promote health, exercise, and entertainment to the senior community in Osceola County in Florida. We rely on volunteers to help prepare and serve daily meals, run day to day needs within the office, as well as help maintain the facility through clean up and maintenance. Local businesses in the area often have food to donate, but cannot deliver it to the pantry. The program serves first and second graders struggling with reading skills. The Read2Succeed First Grade Vocabulary Enhancement Program focuses on increasing vocabulary and background knowledge for students who are below grade level in vocabulary acquisition. Additional support and instruction may be provided through OCPS Foundation and the RSVP program.
