G.O.A.L. –  Girls Overcoming, Achieving, and Learning

In collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, VCI has created a new program called GOAL (Girls Overcome Achieve and Learn). GOAL will focus on creating girl scout troops in low-income areas in Orange County. GOAL volunteers are expected to hold weekly Girl Scout meetings consisting of age-appropriate activities for their Girl Scouts. These activities will allow girls to become more confident, increase their knowledge of problem-solving and life skills, and develop healthy relationships with their peers. Through active participation in the GOAL program, girls will develop the skills and attributes they need to become product citizens and catalyst for change in their communities.

Come help girls in Central Florida succeed! Sign up to become a volunteer.
