WHO Are These Supplies Going To?

These supplies will go to The Community Hope Center. Help provide comfort, security, and dignity by assisting with the most basic of human needs.

The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to serve those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor. This program works to restore dignity and self-sufficiency to those in need in our community through a holistic approach to case management, funds assistance, and life skills. The mission of the Community Hope Center is to provide assistance to all of those in need in our community.

WHO Are These Supplies Going To?

Once we are able to purchase tablets and Zoom accounts, they will go to our Foster Grandparent Program volunteers or RSVP volunteers so they can volunteer safely from home and still help children in classrooms or during virtual classes.

Our volunteers still want to help and support Central Florida children, but during these tough times, it has become more difficult for them to safely leave their homes to volunteer. These tablets will also be used to do wellness checks with our volunteers on a tablet and allow us to make sure they are doing well or need any additional support.
