Volunteer opportunities:
Take Stock in Children in Seminole County Florida is looking for mentors for high school students. This opportunity is currently virtual; however, when allowed the mentoring will be face to face. Volunteers must live in Seminole County Florida for this volunteer opportunity.
Mentors meet with their student for 30 minutes once a week and Take Stock in Children requests that you stay with your student for one year. At the end of the year you can choose to continue with your student or end your time. Some mentors stay with students for all 4 years! Seminole County Public Schools are currently signing up mentors for Fall 2021.
Mentoring will take place during the school day so between 7:20a.m. and 1:30p.m. EST
Volunteers must be 55 or older for this opportunity.
Become a Mentor to Seminole County Public Schools high school students. For the Spring semester, the mentoring will be virtually for 30minutes on zoom. Required to meet weekly. Signing mentors up for Spring now!
