RSVP – Seminole County Veterans Stand Down Event

The 2019 Seminole County Homeless Veteran Stand Down will be held on October 26, 2019 at the Florida Health Department in Seminole County from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  This Stand Down targets homeless and precariously housed Veterans. A full array of services will be provided by the VA, the Health Department and other service providers, including dental screening, showers, a hot meal, haircuts, VA service officers, suicide prevention, PTSD counselors, Women Veterans counselors, medical evaluations and treatment,
flu shots and more.

-Volunteer Coordinator Position
*High Priority*

One of the greatest needs in the pantry is assistance with volunteer coordination duties. This position would take the lead on new volunteer orientation, collecting timesheets, and serving as the liaison between the pantry and RSVP. Basic computer skills needed.

IDignity was created to assist the disadvantaged in Central Florida to navigate the complexities of obtaining their personal identification, such as birth certificates, Florida ID cards, and Social Security cards. These documents are essential to fully participate in our current day society.
