Who Should Apply
Adults 55 and older who meet AmeriCorps Seniors income
eligibility guidelines are welcome to apply to become
a Foster Grandparent volunteer in Central Florida.

What to Expect
After submitting this form, a VCI program coordinator
will contact you within 3-5 business days to discuss
placement opportunities in Orange, Seminole, Osceola,
or Volusia County schools and Head Start centers.

What You Will Need
– Valid photo ID
– Proof of age (55 or older)
– Income documentation for stipend eligibility
– Two personal references
– Willingness to complete a background check

Benefits of Volunteering
Foster Grandparent volunteers receive a tax-free hourly
stipend, meal allowances on days served, transportation
reimbursement, accident and liability insurance, and
an annual physical exam, all at no cost to you.
