VCI’s Foster Grandparent Program serves children across Osceola County, connecting experienced older volunteers with young people who benefit from consistent mentoring and one-on-one support in schools and early learning centers throughout the area.

AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program — Osceola County

Foster Grandparent volunteers serve in schools, Head Start centers, Boys and Girls Clubs, and daycare centers across Osceola County including Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Celebration, and surrounding communities. They provide personalized mentoring and tutoring to children who need an encouraging adult presence in
their lives.

Volunteers serve 15 to 40 hours per week and receive a tax-free hourly stipend, meal allowances, transportation reimbursement, and an annual physical. Must be 55 or older and meet income eligibility guidelines.
